A legend returned to the top step at Crankworx Rotorua tonight, reclaiming a podium position that was his three years ago and one that he has been trying to get back to ever since. A big crowd gathered to watch the doubleheader on Friday night in Rotorua.

In the usual fashion, today's RockShox Rotorua Pumptrack Challenge presented by Torpedo7 was threatened by intermittent afternoon showers, however, the sun made an appearance and shone down upon the maze of fresh golden turns. For 2018, Rotorua saw a fresh, longer and faster-paced track host the tight and frantic racing, which was a welcome change for the riders.

One of the biggest and most anticipated events of Crankworx Rotorua 2018 finally took place on New Zealand soil - the 100% Dual Slalom, and you best believe it didn't disappoint.
